Flux Enviro

Flux Enviro's product range is genuinely complex. A single item might be available to buy, rent, or both, with servicing attached. Off-the-shelf e-commerce and WordPress plugins treat everything as a simple product with a price, which meant the old site was hard to navigate, hard to keep up to date, and didn't help customers find the right option for their problem. They needed a website that made sense to customers and a back end that matched the way the business operates, not the way a plugin assumes it should.

We started with the customer's problem rather than the product list. The catalogue was restructured around what customers are trying to solve, guiding them to the right equipment and the right way to get it, whether that's buying, renting or a service arrangement. Behind the scenes, we built a custom back end on our Pocket CMS platform, modelled around Flux Enviro's three product types. Their team can manage sellable, rentable and serviceable products from one place, without fighting the system or relying on workarounds. Moving from WordPress to Astro also gave the site a significant boost in speed, security and search performance.

Traffic increased immediately after launch. Customers now have a clearer path to the right product, and the Flux Enviro team has a back end that fits their business, making it easier to manage their range and keep the site current as they grow.
